The exhibit is a partnership with three professional photographers: Richard Foreman, Debi Chess Mabie and Genie Lemieux-Jordan. The ongoing collection initiative seeks to photograph North Shore African American individuals who continue and strive to make contributions to the community.

ANDREW DOLINAR is a North Shore resident and a undergraduate student at the University of Illinois Urbana, Champaign. Dolinar has worked with James W. Loewen, author of Sundown Towns, documenting similar towns across the United states with over 500 sundown towns in Illinois alone. Open discussion follows the media presentation.
